Art for your space

About

I had never painted in my life. In fact, it had never even occurred to me that one day I would pick up a brush and that painting would become such an important part of my life. I discovered painting completely by chance. One day, I signed up for a watercolor course — and, to be honest, I didn’t enjoy watercolor at all. And yet, something strange happened. Something inside me seemed to click. I didn’t understand what was happening at the time, but my hands seemed to be asking for more. I wanted to create, experiment, and explore. One day, while walking through the streets of the city, I noticed a canvas in a shop window. I went inside and, almost without thinking, bought it along with a set of acrylic paints. A few hours later, my first painting was finished. And that was the moment I realized: this is it. This was what had been missing from my life. It felt as though I had finally found a missing piece of myself and the puzzle had fallen into place. From that moment on, I painted more and more. I experimented with new materials and techniques, made mistakes, and started again. For a long time, though, I was too shy to show my work to others. My friends told me they liked my paintings, but I was convinced they were simply being kind and didn’t want to hurt my feelings. But time passed. The first sales came. My paintings began finding their way into homes and interiors, and later into a café. Then came my first exhibition opening. Gradually, I realized that something that had started completely by chance had become a real part of my life. I don’t have an academic art education, and my journey into painting began in a way I could never have imagined. Perhaps that is why something else matters more to me: every painting carries my emotions, my energy, and a little piece of who I am. This is my journey as an artist. And I would be happy if one of my paintings became part of your story, too.
